Welcome Task Reminder for Confluence 2.0! We have decided to take our app to the next level! In this new release, we have focused on major improvements for Task Reminder admins, a decision we have drawn mostly from the feedback we processed from the users of our app (thanks!). If you use tasks with mentions, and possibly due dates in your Confluence instance, it is only natural that users forget about their tasks. Task Reminder will help them remember! By sending scheduled reminder emails.

We used to develop custom themes in the past which turned out hard to maintain. We changed to only one theme app called Lively Theme that acts as a drop-in solution with options for customizations. This is an experience report of how we tested our Confluence apps for the Atlassian Data Center requirements. While we successfully had most of our apps Data Center verified with this procedure, your app might require a different approach. There are many frameworks and procedures for performance/scale testing out there and you should choose the one that best fits your scenario. While we encourage you to have a look at our open source E4 framework that we used, we would like to point out that we do not provide active support and maintenance for the project. It is meant to be an open source community project with an "accepted uncertain future".

It can happen now and then that macros are removed in Confluence and replaced by a new feature. For example the View PDF Macro that was marked as obsolete with Confluence 5.9. But what to do to find the affected pages? Here PocketQuery for Confluence can help. A very simple one, admittedly, but I think it’s a practical example to use templates as well as converters and to have a quick access.

We’ve been working on it for some time now and we’re very happy that our two important Atlassian Marketplace apps, PocketQuery for Confluence and the free HideElements for Confluence, are now officially “Data Center ready”. The necessary tests with different target systems and many hundreds of concurrent users take longer than originally anticipated but we are positive that we will follow up with our other Marketplace apps by September.
