Cloud Migration

The transition is an upgrade - not a hurdle

We know this migration is happening. Whether you are using Atlassian FastShift to accelerate your move or following a long-term roadmap, our apps are built to transition with you.

The most important thing to know: You don't need to rebuild everything. While we rebuilt our apps for the Cloud to make them faster and more secure, so your team feels right at home and can continue working directly in the Cloud.

Currently not possible on Cloud

Due to current technical limitations of the Atlassian Cloud platform, the following apps cannot be implemented in Cloud at this time: HideElements, Lively Theme and Team Admin.

We know these apps are important to many teams and will continue to monitor developments on the Atlassian platform. If future platform capabilities make it possible, we will certainly revisit a Cloud implementation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Will everything break when I migrate to Atlassian Cloud?
No. While Atlassian is ending support for Data Center in 2029, we have already built the Cloud versions of our apps to ensure your workflows transition smoothly.
Can we continue our current use case in Cloud?
Yes. Most PocketQuery integrations, Lively Blogs dashboards, and Task Reminder setups migrate directly. The tools you rely on every day will continue to work.
Do I need to rebuild all my PocketQuery queries?
No. For PocketQuery, we provide a direct XML export/import tool that moves your Datasources, Queries, and Templates. Your core logic stays intact.
How can I securely allowlist PocketQuery Cloud to access my firewall-protected databases?
PocketQuery Cloud uses a dedicated outbound IP address, making it possible to securely allowlist access to databases protected by a firewall.
Do we need a Solution Partner?
Larger enterprise migrations or complex data integrations may benefit from certified Solution Partners. We can help your partner ensure the Lively Apps portion of your migration is seamless.
How do we handle the technical migration?
We provide clear, step-by-step documentation for every app. For PocketQuery, it is a simple XML export and import process. For Task Reminder and Lively Blogs, your core content moves with the Atlassian Cloud Migration Assistant (CMA).
Is the Cloud version secure?
Absolutely. Our Cloud apps are rebuilt natively for the Atlassian Cloud and use secure OAuth2 authentication. We follow Atlassian's best practices for data residency and security.
