Lively Apps GmbH develops and operates cloud-based apps for the Atlassian ecosystem.  
To support our customers’ compliance and export law requirements, this page provides the official export control classification for all Lively Apps products.

This statement replaces individual customer-specific export questionnaires.

Products Covered

This Export Controls Statement applies to all active cloud products published by Lively Apps on the Atlassian Marketplace:

  • PocketQuery for Confluence (Cloud) – Connect SQL databases & REST APIs  
  • Usage Statistics for Confluence (Cloud) – Analytics on usage & content activity  
  • Task Reminder for Confluence (Cloud) – Scheduled Slack & email notifications  
  • Link Management for Confluence (Cloud) – Bulk link editing & domain migration  
  • Lively Blogs for Confluence (Cloud) – Dynamic news streams & blog layouts  

products are software-only, delivered exclusively as SaaS apps hosted on Atlassian Cloud.  
No hardware or stand-alone components are supplied.

EU Export Control Classification (Regulation (EU) 2021/821)

After internal assessment:

  • Lively Apps products are not listed in Annex I of the EU Dual-Use Regulation (EU) 2021/821.  
  • No components or submodules fall under dual-use classification.  
  • Products are not designed or modified for military use.  
  • No products contain chemicals regulated by CWCIR Schedule 1.  
  • No Lively Apps products require EU export licenses.

All Lively Apps products are non-dual-use items under EU law.

US Export Administration Regulations (EAR)

Lively Apps products are not subject to US export control regulations:

  • Not US-origin (developed and operated in the EU).  
  • No integrated US hardware or export-controlled components.  
  • No encryption beyond standard, openly available HTTPS/TLS.  
  • Not classified under ECCN, including Category 5 Part II.  
  • Not EAR99 and not considered “subject to the EAR”.  
  • No BIS authorizations or license exceptions apply.

All Lively Apps products are EAR-not-relevant.

PRC Export Control Regime

  • Lively Apps products are not of Chinese origin.  
  • No development, hosting, distribution, or shipment occurs from the PRC.  
  • No PRC-controlled components are used.

The PRC export control regime does not apply.
