For a lot of people, the Confluence dashboard is the first page they see when logging into their office computer. Adding widgets to the dashboard is a great way to place meaningful and relevant information in a central place for everyone to view. You can show blog posts, a calendar, the users open tasks, new questions asked and so much more.

Our beloved Confluence app Live Snippets has gotten a neat update and has been renamed to Git Snippets! In addition to Bitbucket Server, you can now embed code from Github.

Dear Confluence admins, from personal experience we can sympathize and know how much you have on your plate. Many of our customers have Confluence instances with hundreds of spaces and thousands of users. It’s exhausting to have each space admin come by and say that they want user A to be added to group X, but then user B needs to be moved to a new group Y, because group X doesn’t have the comment permission in the space - you know the drill.

Version 3.5.0 of our plugin PocketQuery for Confluence is now available at the marketplace! It offers the possibility to connect to databases via JNDI and includes a new Velocity API call for more flexible templating and query combination.

After a long period of beta testing (thanks to all the testers!!), version 1.0 is now finally here. Since then, a lot of bugs have been squashed and little things here and there have been improved.
